After their 15 year old daughter Lauren tragically died in 2010 from a rare auto-immune disorder her parents have set up a foundation in her name.

Grant and Adrienne Currie have set up the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation to help others suffering from Vasculitis with the aim of raising awareness and funding research. Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have now become patrons of the foundation.

Fundraising efforts include a charity dinner and auction, 5k race and DVD for GP's to raise the awareness of Vasculitis. Grant and Adrienne have also help a private viewing on the latest Twilight film, which Lauren was a fan off and raise a fantastic £500.
